Late Sh. K. D. Gulati and Smt Champa Gulati a couple of great vision laid the foundation stone of Jyoti Model School on 3 Dec.1969 with the motive of a noble task of educating the young along the path of righteousness towards their future. Under their guidance and supervision, the little sapling of J.M.S. grew into a big strong tree with efficient teachers and talented students.

On 4th May, 1989, our honourable founder Chairman left for his heavenly abode leaving behind a fitting ambience in the school -an ambience that promotes discipline, hard work, dedication, fellow feeling, team work and joy in learning. With the same motive, Mrs. Gulati, the honourable manager of J.M.S. worked hard day and night to fulfil the dreams of late Sh. Gulati.

Today, the school is progressing by leaps and bounds with a broad curriculum that includes academics, Co-scholastic activities and moral values which are implemented with the extensive support of the management, the academic team as well as the parents.
